Snappywords - Mental Training - Digit Span Memory
Digit Span Memory is a memory challenge where digits are briefly shown on the screen before being replaced by asterisks.
Your task: recall the hidden digits and enter them using the on-screen or physical keypad.

The game starts with 3 digits in Level 1. For every correctly solved sequence, one extra digit is added in the next level, making it progressively more challenging. By the higher levels, remembering long sequences will truly test your concentration and working memory.

At the beginning, you can customize certain settings: choose whether the sequence is presented forwards or backwards, and select age, gender, and education level for a tailored training experience.

5 Tips for Successful “Digit Span Memory”

1. Use chunking

Break long number sequences into smaller groups (e.g., 247 – 59 – 83) to make them easier to store in memory.

2. Create patterns

Look for visual or mathematical patterns in the numbers—like consecutive digits or repeated numbers—to aid recall.

3. Rehearse mentally

Repeat the sequence in your mind immediately after it appears, reinforcing it before you start typing.

4. Focus on the screen

Avoid distractions during the display phase; every second of focus increases your recall accuracy.

5. Challenge yourself gradually

Use the customization options to make the game more difficult once you’ve mastered the basics, keeping your brain engaged.
