Thermometer Puzzle is a logic game played on a rectangular grid. Each cell contains so-called thermometers – special shapes that extend upward from a rounded base (the "bulb"). Your objective is to fill cells so that the number of filled spaces in each row and column matches the numbers given at the edges of the grid. Thermometers must always be filled from the bulb upward. By using logical deduction and elimination, you gradually work your way toward the solution.

5 Tips for Mastering Thermometer Puzzle

1. Start with full rows and columns

If a row or column has a number equal to its total number of cells, you can fill all of them immediately – a great starting point.

2. Use zero clues to your Advantage

If a row or column has a zero next to it, no cells in that line should be filled. This allows you to eliminate any thermometers crossing it right away.

3. Pay attention to fill direction

Thermometers can only be filled from the bulb upward. If a segment is filled, all segments below it must be filled as well.

4. Apply elimination logic

When you are certain a cell cannot be filled, mark it as empty. This gradually sharpens the picture of the correct solution.

5. Fill partial solutions first

Even if the full solution is unclear, fill in any sections you’re confident about – such as the lower part of a long thermometer. These partial steps often lead to key breakthroughs.
