5 Tips for Solving Pipes Puzzles Successfully

1. Start with the end pieces

Pipe tiles with only one open connection are great starting points. They can only face in one direction.

2. Look for fixed connections

Adjacent pipe pieces that must be connected often reveal clear hints about their correct orientation.

3. Watch out for dead ends

Since closed loops aren’t allowed, you’ll quickly see which connections can’t work — and eliminate them accordingly.

4. Use the edges of the grid

Edge tiles have no neighbors on one or more sides, so pipe ends must not point into empty space.

5. Solve small sections first

Focus on small, contained areas. Once those are correctly connected, solving the rest becomes much easier.
